Wonderful Winter Wedding at Seehotel Niedernberg

You will see today the second preview from one of the amazing wedding I have ever photographed: the wonderful winter wedding at Seehotel Niedernberg. I am so tented to post the whole wedding today but still I will wait until before Easter for that. Well let’s recap: winter wedding, December, -6 Degrees, no snow. Even though, at first, the conditions doesn’t seem perfect It was quite a perfect wedding.

When I arrived to the hotel where the getting ready took place it was quiet. Our bride was getting ready alone with here niece and the girl from hair and make-up. I quickly snaped some photos with her dress, shoes and her wonderful niece then I went to meet the guys. Ah, I almost forget did you checked their engagement photo shoot I did last summer? So the guys were relaxed, drinking beer and joking.

The Ceremony

The time for the ceremony has come and we quickly went to our cars because we had a 30 minutes drive to Miltenburg Castle where the ceremony location was. I had the pleasure to photograph another ceremony here and since then I was pleasant surprised with this castle location. Although in winter the conditions were different for example less light and less color.

The major of Miltenberg was funny as usual and the guest could not stop laughing! After the ceremony we tried our luck with some photos outside but it was quite cold and we decided to go inside because the museum has some interesting rooms. On our way back to the wedding location we found an old winery and we quickly decided to go inside for a couple of photos. It was quite dark and the light was pretty bad but I managed to snap w few nice photos! After that we arrived back to the hotel and the party could start. And what a party..! I couldn’t let my camera down for more than 10 minutes, It was so entertaining!
