After wedding shooting in the old city of Schäßburg
Hello dear friends, here is the new blog post ‘The after wedding photoshoot in an Old City’. Sorry it took me so long with this post but I had a few personal problems – our car decided to die for good – the motor went for an early retirement – so we had to find a new one and really quick. What I am thankful about is that it didn’t broke on my way to some wedding. It wouldn’t have been a pleasant surprise. Even though I am covered by ADAC plus and I would definitely arrive to the wedding I wouldn’t like such emotions when I have to be fully focused to the event! And it is such a pain to try to find a new car really quick…
But let’s leave this behind and return to my post from today. I think this photo session I will always remember because of a small accident. But what’s going on in this post? Broken cars and accidents? Well not necessary .. I will arrive later to the story.
So we arrived in this amazing medieval city of Sighisoara (it was a real marathon for me those days – a flight, then a christening then this after wedding photo shoot) and started the photo shoot. There were amazing corners everywhere – I could photograph there a whole week without the fear of repeating myself. The bride brought a custom swing and told me she would love to have some photos with it. So, we had to find a tree to support this. … and fast because the sun was setting.
Finally my assistant found a tree good enough and we started photographing. Unfortunately the location with the tree and swing was pretty bad, in shadow, behind a stone wall. But I always carry my sun with me so we improvised the sunset light! And I was so pleased with the result and continued shooting until I wasn’t paying attention and stepped on a big stone…
.. to be continued (with photos 🙂 )
