Wedding in Brühl and photo shoot in Schloss Augustusburg

Hello dear friends, here we meet again this time with this wedding in Brühl and photo shoot in Schloss Augustusburg. I was a bit off line in the last time, spending time with my family and retouching photos. But now I’m back and will try be more active on my website with a lot of new weddings.

But let’s get back to our wedding. It is a foggy autumn morning, and I met the wedding couple. Ah I was almost forget we have met the first time back in August. Back then we had an amazing engagement photo shoot in Fulda – I will present you that later. It is ready I have just to publish it.

The photoshoot on wedding day at noon when the sun shines strong

I remember that it was a wet and foggy morning. Nothing did announce the strong sun we had later. Yes, the sun appeared right in the middle of our photoshoot. That’s not necessarily a good thing, given that the time was 12 o’clock. But what can we do, we are at a wedding where the schedule is not always as we, wedding photographers, wished for.

I always have butterflies in my stomach when he photo shoot on wedding day is taking place at noon. Then I try to explain that this is not the best time (read worst time) to do the photo shoot. This is because the sun is exactly over our heads and the strong light cast a lot of shadows on the faces. But even though I can manage the strong sun! Of course, for the best results I always recommend afternoon or even sunset. But us, as wedding photographers we must get the best results no matter what conditions are.

Regarding the photos shoot I remember that marvelous castle in Bruhl, the Augustusburg. There are some amazing photos from inside but unfortunately we weren’t allowed to photograph inside. That is a pity but it has also some amazing gardens where we can take some wonderful photos.
