Wedding in Altensteig
Hello dear friends. I hardly keep up with publishing of all my work on my blog but here we are with a new story, an amazing story, the Wedding in Altensteig. Given the distance, I have spoked with my lovely bride and groom before their wedding on skype as I usually do when the couple lives far from my hometown. It was a nice chat where we got to know each other and planed a bit our photo session on the wedding day. When I heard that they have planned an open air ceremony I was so thrilled because I just love the free ceremonies! They sent me a link with the ceremony location but from the pictures available in internet I didn’t realized how beautiful that place was. So I got in the car happy that the weather forecast did not announce any rain that day. In summer in Germany there are plenty of road works and detours. So after a big detour while my GPS drove me through a one way forest road I finally arrived in Altensteig. Such a pleasant surprise: hills, old buildings, an amazing scenery! And their “getting ready location” was just near the ceremony location! I arrived a little earlier so I started a bit of location scouting for the photo session. Everything was wonderful, too bad that the city hall was surrounded by heavy machineries. But never mind there were a lot of other attractions. A pleasant surprise was that the groom suggested having the “getting ready” photos done outside! I happily agreed and found a nice spot for him and the boys. We had a lot of fun especially Alex, the groom – you can see that in the photos! The ceremony was so wonderful; it was the first time for me when I had the pleasure to photograph a “Free Church” Ceremony. Singing, praying, warm emotions, simply amazing. But that’s it with the story for today, I let you enjoy the first photos!
