Elegant Wedding in the Great Gatsby Style
Hello dear friends here we meet again not as often as I used to but I promise I will catch up in the next weeks. I traveled a lot last month so it was quite challenging to work on a tight schedule. In one of my travels I had the great opportunity to photograph this amazing wedding its preview you are about to see today: the Elegant Wedding in the Great Gatsby Stile. I arrived a few days earlier because we scheduled the engagement shooting session one day before the wedding so we could get to know each other better before the wedding (I will also post some pictures from the engagement shooting but a bit later- I thought the wedding pictures are nicer). The wedding started with their civil marriage which took exactly three minutes. Quickly after the civil marriage the bride hurried to hair and makeup so I have started with the groom and the “getting ready”-part photos. I usually suggest to the couple to photograph first the “grooms getting ready”-part while the bride’s hair and makeup is being done. In this way I succeed to take pictures of both of them in the same day even if they are in different locations. This is something that needs to be agreed on and scheduled precisely before the wedding. In their case this was easy to do because they were in the same location, so after we had all the groom’s photos done the bride was ready for the photo shooting. She had an amazing dress and her mades of honor where dressed the same and had some vintage feathers on their heads – so cool! They had champagne, cookies and a lot of fun! After that we drove to the church, a wonderful intimate church with some amazing icons painted on the walls. During the ceremony the priest was so kind to tell me to go and have some pictures the balcony because it’s a wonderful view from up there. But he didn’t knew that I have already photographed a few weddings in that church before so I know every spot and my second photo shooter already took those photos from above at the bride entrance. But he was so kind giving me those hints!
Ok, I won’t bore you more with my stories. I will let you enjoy this first preview; stay tuned because there’s more to come!
